Who is Care For Life?

The Membership of Care For Life includes and is open to individuals and organisations.

Committee Membership

You can become a Voting or Non Voting Member of Care For Life.

Care For Life's Management Committee meetings are open to members and meets on the third Wednesday of each month. For details and locations please contact Raylee Taylor on 07 5573 3873.

Care For Life provides information relating to suicide prevention and bereavement by suicide to organisations and community members, through training and community forums. Care For Life also provides resources for the prevention of suicide in young people.

Evidence based information and research is provided to various sectors of the community to ensure good practice is adhered to. 'Care For Life' is represented on local organisations with a focus on suicide prevention, youth and bereaved by suicide.

Care For Life is actively involved in developing strategies in collaboration with organisations on the Gold Coast towards the prevention of suicide. Some of these include: Rotary District 9640 Suicide Prevention Committee, Gold Coast City Council, Gold Coast Youth Network, Youth At Risk Alliance (YARA), and Family Relationships Centre.
